Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)
Work the World was founded in 2005 by two friends working in the gap year industry. Whilst working in Ghana they realized there was a real need within the medical community for an organization that could simplify the process of arranging international medical elective placements. The idea was an instant success and the company rapidly diversified to offer electives in dentistry, nursing, midwifery and physical therapy. It wasn’t long before demand for more destinations led to expansion into Tanzania. Programs in Asia and finally South America quickly followed.

Today we are the largest specialist provider of overseas healthcare placements in the world, arranging electives for more than 1000 people every year. We believe the secret to our success is in the package we offer.
